A self-initiated project built around the Nike Structure 26, modelled from scratch and textured in Substance Painter. The goal was twofold: push the quality of my product modelling and texturing, and explore simulation techniques in Houdini. I also decided to use one of the shots as the intro sequence for my showreel.
The project moves through three distinct environments, opening in a natural outdoor context, transitioning into a clean dark studio limbo, and closing on an abstract simulation shot where the sole presses into a soft glittery cloth surface, the fabric deforming under pressure as seen from below. Rendered in Blender Cycles.
